The SMS Group have had a very busy summer period supporting numerous diving projects, both planned and emergency.
From a planned perspective the company has undertaken in-water survey works and sub-surface engineering works for Babcock International and Southern Water.
Emergency works have included: cleared fouled staren gear with UK Border Force and Dover Harbour Board, in-water survey works for both BV and DNV (one pre-sale inspection and one off-hire inspection), three call-outs to the Thames including the removal of circa 100m of mooring lines from the shaft lines and propellers of a RO-RO ferry.
The SMS Group has also invested in new plant and equipment to better support its diving customer base.
