SEAMOR Marine Opens Maritime Office in the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE)

SEAMOR Marine is pleased to announce a groundbreaking expansion: our new office space in The Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) on Canada’s East Coast.

“Through our membership and office space in the COVE Center, SEAMOR gains a physical presence here in Nova Scotia,” says Jeff Smith, Director of Sales & Marketing at SEAMOR Marine and long- time Halifax resident. “This opens doors for us to take part in new entrepreneurial ventures such as Invest Nova Scotia and provides exciting opportunities for collaboration with Ocean Tech which requires reliable, versatile Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to collect critical data for marine research.”

Our Chinook ROV is no stranger to the Atlantic, having played a key part in the RCMP’s National Underwater Recovery and Training Centre’s 2020 recovery of the wrecked scallop dragger ‘Chief William Saulis’ in the notoriously turbulent Bay of Fundy. Now connected coast-to-coast, we here at SEAMOR Marine are positioned to effectively engage clients in both government and industry on both sides of the country.

“This is an exciting chapter in our growth as a company,” states Inja Ma, SEAMOR Marine CEO. “The reputation we’ve established and the relationships we’ve built on the East Coast are now only set to grow.”
