DEMON SALTWATER PRESSURE WASHERS

June 11, 2018

Demon International will be exhibiting for the fifth year at Seawork’s 2018 showcasing our range of saltwater pressure washers.

Demon International are one of the leading manufacturers of high pressure cleaning machines. One of only a few UK companies manufacturing pressure washers in the UK, recently celebrating over 50 years in business.

Demon boast speciality equipment in a number of industries including the marine industry with their range of saltwater pressure washers. Over the last five years many of these machines have been supplied for offshore cleaning including windfarms, oil rigs and other marine cleaning roles such as boatyards and dockyards. There are a number of benefits to using saltwater as a cleaning medium which include cost and availability. Often the suction hose can be just dropped into the sea enabling the pressure washer to draw water up to 2m head.

Saltwater pressure washing requires a specific machine that is designed and manufactured not to be affected by the saltwater. To achieve this a stainless steel pump and unloader is required, along with fittings that will not corrode. The Demon range have chassis constructed from galvanised steel with pneumatic wheels making it easy to move around. Each Demon machine comes complete with a 2 wire hose, 3m suction hose and stainless steel lance as standard.

Demon offer a range of diesel engines and electric motor versions all of which produce 200bar at 15ltrs/min flow rate, which is the most efficient cleaning effect for this type of work. They use the Yanmar L100n engine for diesel machines, a well proven industrial engine, and 4 pole industrial motors for the electric machines.

2018 sees Demon International introducing a galvanised version of their successful range of combined flat surface cleaner and pressure washer. The Hurricane Combi Saltwater is designed to be used with sea water to reduce the costs of cleaning where available. All Demon industrial pressure washers are able to draw water up to 2m’s, and are ideal for pontoon and slipway cleaning.

Also available is the galvanised Rotowash 600, which is designed in conjunction with our Hurricane range of saltwater pressures. Simple attach to the pressure washer for flat surface work, such as slips, pontoons and general cleaning where salt water can be used.

Demon International has built up a reputation for producing industrial pressure washers designed to be robust and reliable. They offer a technical support line with after sales care second to none.

The Demon range of saltwater pressure washers is perfect for cleaning pontoons, slipways, windfarm platforms and any other marine cleaning that can use saltwater.
