Panel Systems, a leading fabricator and distributor of composite panels, has extended its composite panel offering to the rail, marine and engineering industries with the addition of Larcore aluminium honeycomb panels.
Alucoil, the specialist global fabricator of advanced materials, has appointed Panel Systems as the official UK distributor for its Larcore panels which are used extensively in Europe.
Larcore is an A2 fire rated structural panel combining high load performance with low weight. The panels are manufactured in a continuous process, with an aluminium honeycomb core and aluminium skins that are coated with a primer suitable as a finished surface or for further processing, including colour coatings.
With a state-of-the-art facility, which is equipped with the latest CNC machinery, Alucoil recognised that Panel Systems and its team has the skills and capabilities to fabricate and add significant value to the Larcore panel. Machining and laminating of Larcore for demanding and aesthetic applications are key elements for a range of industries including transport and marine.

The Larcore A2 panels are available to order direct from the Panel Systems website in a standard sheet size of 3120mm x 1500mm in a range of thicknesses including 6mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm. Non‑standard sizes and thicknesses are also available in sheets up to 6250mm long.
