English Braids Ltd is a privately owned British manufacturer of ropes, cords and braids. We were established in 1972 in order to supply rope and cord of varying constructions into the industrial marketplace.
The company was established in Malvern, Worcestershire and our current purpose built site, which includes our manufacturing facility as well as office functions, was acquired in 1979. The organisation grew and evolved from this point, with a strong emphasis on sales and customer service.
Our Commercial Marine product range is based on a combination of onshore, offshore and subsea, with all products designed to meet the environmental challenges in these extreme locations. Technical fibres such as Dyneema® and Technora® are found alongside more routine products manufactured from polypropylene and polyethylene. English Braids are heavily involved in the development of bespoke solutions for these demanding industries.
English Braids has established a network of partners throughout the UK and distribution channels throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. The values of the company have been aimed at bringing a high-quality product to market. It has been our long standing opinion that people do not buy on price, but value for money. It is this messaging that has been key in the overall success of the company today.
