Latest Addition to Fleet for hire
In addition to its fleet of rib’s Post Workboats has added a new addition to its fleet: the Galactica catamaran. This vessel, built in 2023 in the Netherlands, is suitable for worldwide trade and is classified as MCA Cat 3 up to 20 miles.
The Galactica is equipped with 2 x Yamaha F 300 HP main engines and Yamaha helm master with autopilot and DP. The hull is made of GRP and has a net tonnage of 5 tons. With a top speed of 43 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots, the Galactica is very manoeuvrable. The tank has a capacity of 600 liters and the ship has a length of 10.20 meters and a width of 3.70 meters. The Galactica is also suitable for road transport and has four 2-tonne lifting eyes.
