Manuplas showcased their navigation buoys at Seawork in June, generating a high level of interest in the product from port and harbour masters visiting the show.
The company design, manufacture and supply IALA compliant navigation buoys in a range of diameters for both offshore and in-shore applications worldwide. The buoys help to establish positioning, safe routes or warn of hazards or obstructions, often in demanding operating conditions.
Each navigation buoy is manufactured from a thermolaminated closed-cell polyethylene foam core and coated in a brightly coloured, durable, and abrasion resistant polyurethane elastomer skin. The lightweight modular design enables quick, easy transportation and installation. Fitted lifting eyes also enhance handling.
The buoys are virtually maintenance free and practically unsinkable if the outer skin is damaged, therefore maximising service reliability.
The Manuplas product range also includes mooring buoys, marker buoys, quayside floating fenders and vessel fendering.
